"NOW SOLD"

1994 RHD COUPE 968 SPORT, (ITS NOT A LHD - LEFT HAND DRIVE CAR), SIX SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX (LONG M.O.T. / TAX DISC TILL DEC 2013)

THE PERFECT EVERY DAY PORSCHE AND / OR ....A TOP CHOICE FOR A TRACK DAY CAR CANDIDATE.......

114600mls (it has a service history complete up to 85,500) then the car was taken to Ireland (hence plates) and a few receipts after that.

A recent full service was carried out (112k miles) and the book was stamped accordingly (all perishables were checked / hoses / bushes / brake lines and pads).

The car mechanically is in tip top condition and the engine is very rewarding as you can imagine.

Being a sport model it comes with extras such as independent rear suspension and drilled vented disc brakes with 4 pot callipers. It has electric mirrors / windows and sunroof (which can be taken out for a targa top) black leather sports steering wheel (club sport), black leather heated seats on the front (not standard), aircon, CD stereo with ipod connectivity and 4 speakers.
There are a few blemishes in the paintwork, a small dent in the bonnet and slight (very slight) amount of pitting on the A frame and around the windscreen, (but overall very clean).

All 4 wheels and tyres are in good condition with no scrapes or curbing but could do with a refurbishment (£150 for all 4) as some of the paint lacquer is pitted. On the interior there are a couple of plastic trims that need attention, but again its very minor stuff.

Overall this car is in a very good state for its age, although it had light front end damage in the past,(don't let this put you off, not many aren't!!)
It was damaged at the front offside corner, professional work was undertaken to repair the car back to its original state. The chassis legs & engine were untouched (it was a very minor front end damage which sadly involved quite a few parts (rads, bumper, light, offside wing) hence it was written off as 'uneconomical to repair' . The vehicle was then sold as salvage, professionally repaired by its new owner, passed its VIC test, had an MOT and was put back on the road. Any inspection welcome (to verify the above).

You can spend £300 for minor tlc and drive around a perfectly nice everyday Porsche.

Alternatively, with a little bit of weekend work and very little money you can turn this into a superb trackday car.
Clubsports’ are fetching £13-15K nowadays....and Sports are not far behind...

If you want a trackday weapon all you need to do is to buy a sunroof delete panel from PRO-9 (£100 on ebay), a pair of seats and harnesses (£300), a roll cage for £500 and you re in business for around £1k (less the cost of the stripped out parts which you can sell on ebay i.e. standard seats)!

Road or race this is a superb candidate...
