LHD 1995 Porsche 911 993 3.6 Carrera 4 Coupe, Manual, European Car BARN FIND. Low miles...Great export opportunity, European car!.
Barn find Porsche 911 - 993 left hand drive....
As you all know, this is the infamous ''last of the aircooled 911s'', so it doesn't get any better than this if you are looking for a classic, blue chip investment Porsche....
This is a 1995 pre-varioram car, with only 135k kms on the clock (which is approx 83k miles)......
It’s a Coupe, Carrera 4, 6 speed manual, in Aventura green with black leather interior, sunroof, and aircondition.
It also comes with standard cup wheels, silver brake calipers, 2 way electrically adjustable comfort seats, and a larger fuel tank (98lt).
Originally build for the Belgian market (option C22), it is believed to be a 2 owner car (from new).
It was registered in the UK in year 2000 (it still has the LHD lights and speedometer).
The car is totally original with no modifications whatsoever.
Totally solid, and accident free throughout, with all the correct spot weldings and stickers in the right places (under the bonnet, on the door shuts, etc etc).
The vehicle comes with a pouch of books, previous service / parts receipts, previous MOT’s, V5 logbook and keys.
It was discovered after being parked up for 2 years, and after long negotiations we managed to buy it.
Its an excellent opportunity for someone to do very minor work and buy a very cheap and definitely a very sought after left hand drive 993 manual.
Prices in Europe on these cars are around 40,000-45,000 euro.
Known things that will need attention:
1) The cup mirrors have been stolen and will need to be replaced (they are about £300 for a set on ebay).
2) It needs minor paintwork, detailing and a good polish. The areas that need a bit of paintwork are: the scuttle panel (where the windscreen wipers mount) which has a bit of bubbling, the front bumper o/s corner, and the rear bumper n/s corner. This shouldn’t be more than £400.
3) The rear lights are faded and the indicators have cracks (again £400 on ebay).
4) Finally, it will need a minor service and re-commissioning (oil & filter, brake fluids etc). The last service was done by a Porsche specialist approx 2 years ago and it cost around £1000 (it hasn’t done many miles since then).
So the car needs a bit of love and attention, plus a bit of money spending on it (around £1500-£2000 in total).
The vehicle is totally accident free on all accounts and 100% HPI clear.
It also comes with a Porsche private plate valued at £800.
In order to protect the identity of the car, no extra photos will be uploaded or sent by email, but viewings are very welcome (STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT).
The vehicle is with a Porsche specialist (not far from Heathrow airport).
